Halestorm's highly respected frontwoman Lzzy Hale has taken to social media to share a powerful statement to fans regarding the tragic death of Huntress lead singer Jill Janus.

Janus, who fronted the California heavy metal outfit Huntress, died of a suicide earlier this week. Friends and family say the 43-year-old had long struggled with mental health.

Not long after her death was confirmed, Hale posted a powerful statement to fans. She both honored Janus, whom she's lovingly referred to before as her "scream sister," and called on everyone to be more open to talking about mental health, saying "we are ALL in this life together."
