The 22-year-old touches on her experience with going to therapy and opens up on mental health. Although it might take longer for some than others to get out of their own heads, Cara knows it’s worth it to try and take care of ourselves one day at a time.

”I definitely want to reach as many people as I can whether they’re dealing with mental illness or even if they’re just dealing with a weird period in their life,” Cara said.

Cara stresses the importance of talking to someone and that is why she will be joining us on September 9 for our “I’m Listening” campaign to mark the start of National Suicide Prevention Week.
